For those of you watching WJHL (CBS) or EJHL (ABC), starting in March you may see a familiar logo or some familiar faces! That's because FTAAAD received a grant to promote COVID-19 vaccinations in the older-adult population, and has used a portion of these funds to create awareness of FTAAAD, its programs and services, and the ways the agency can help older adults and adults with disabilities access the vaccinations and booster shots.
You can catch these commercials, starring FTAAAD, FTDD and MyRide Jonesborough staff, on programs like the morning and evening local news, CBS This Morning, Daytime Tri-Cities, Dr. Phil, Family Feud,The Price Is Right, and World News Tonight. Complementing these :30 tv spots are print ads in seven of the local Northeast Tennessee newspapers, including the Johnson City Press, Kingsport Times News, Mountain City Tomahawk, Rogersville Review, Erwin Record, Jonesborough Herald & Tribune and the Greeneville Sun. These ads will run weekly in each paper from March through the end of June.
